Brasserie Auval Brewing Co., est. 2015. Situated on the Côte des Pères in Val d’Espoir and surrounded by fields, we work to craft beers with distinctive signatures—to create a collective space of peace and sharing, and to revitalize this place by highlighting our values and expertise. In the 1930s, an agricultural school was founded on the site; it closed its doors in 1961. In the 2000s, a cooperative took over the management of the land to revive the area’s agricultural past. In 2015, the Auval brewery established itself there with the aim of developing a farm brewery by cultivating a portion of its own raw materials—specifically small fruits, honey, and certain heritage grains.
