Honey Buzz Winery. Honey Buzz Winery is owned and operated by George and Paige Nester, seasoned beekeepers with over a decade of hands-on experience. With a deep understanding of honey and a passion for craftsmanship, the idea of creating mead—also known as honey wine—felt like a natural next step rather than a far-off dream. As the dream took shape, it was only fitting that it would be built with friends. Lance, one of George and Paige’s oldest friends, joined the Honey Buzz team as Head Mead Maker, bringing creativity, curiosity, and a fresh perspective to the craft. Together, George and Lance began experimenting, refining, and collaborating—blending tradition, innovation, and honey straight from the hive. That collaboration has led to something truly special. Today, Honey Buzz meads have earned award-winning recognition, including first and second place honors at the Texas Mead Festival, a testament to the care and craftsmanship behind every batch.
