Metsiederei Eckert

Metsiederei Eckert, est. 2013. Every bottle is made by hand: from mixing the water and honey to fermentation and bottling – unfiltered and unsulfured. Our mead is also made with honey from the Dark Bee – an endangered, original bee breed native to Switzerland. We work with wild yeasts and lunar phases, among other methods, and mature select varieties in Swiss oak barrels. Internationally acclaimed, regionally rooted – and available to order directly online.We keep our own bees – as a hobby and to always know what it takes to harvest good honey.

Metheglin
