At Mountain Meadows Mead, we specialize in honeywines and fruit wines made with honey. Since 1999 we have won top awards at Mazer Cup International Competitions and at the International Mead Festival.
Our primary distribution is along the I-5 corridor, from Sacramento to Seattle, with Portland, Oregon being our single largest market. We have also exported our meads to Sweden, and filled large orders for renaissance faires.
Our Meadery is set up to make 300 gallon batches of fruit honeywines, and 500 gallon batches of honey meads. The Meadery is located in the small town of Westwood, in Lassen County, Northern California, where the domestic water source – an enormous free-flowing mountain spring – has been the secret of our success.
